About the Role

Key Responsibilities

System Implementation & Optimization

Lead end‑to‑end deployments of EHR modules, patient portals, and interoperability interfaces (HL7, FHIR). Conduct gap analyses, configure clinical decision support rules, and fine‑tune performance to meet SLAs.

Security & Compliance

Maintain HIPAA, HITECH, and state‑level privacy standards. Perform risk assessments, manage access controls, and coordinate audit responses with the compliance team.

Data Integrity & Analytics

Design data‑quality dashboards, automate ETL processes, and partner with data scientists to surface actionable insights for population health management.

Stakeholder Enablement

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with major EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or similar)
• Strong command of HL7 v2/v3, FHIR, CDA, and CCD standards
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Scripting expertise in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation
• Database fluency in SQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB) for clinical data stores

Experience & Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Salary Range
