- Proficiency in HL7 v2.x, FHIR R4, CCD/CCR standards, and Mirth Connect or Rhapsody integration engines.
- Strong SQL skills; experience with PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Snowflake.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) for health‑tech workloads.
- Scripting ability in Python or PowerShell for automation of routine tasks.
Soft Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional communication – ability to translate technical concepts for clinical stakeholders.
- Proven project management experience (Agile/Scrum) with a track record of on‑time deliveries.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data quality, usability, and patient safety.
- Self‑directed, reliable, and comfortable working asynchronously across time zones.
Salary Range
Estimated compensation: $95,000 – $125,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience, certifications, and geographic cost‑of‑living adjustments. This range reflects current market rates for senior Health IT Specialists in fully remote U.S. roles.
