About the Role

We seek a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Health Data Analyst to join our innovative healthcare analytics team. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data models and analytical frameworks for health data (EHRs, claims, registries, etc.).
• Perform advanced statistical analysis and data mining to identify patterns, trends, and correlations within complex health datasets.
• Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and compelling reports, dashboards, and visualizations (using tools like Tableau, Power BI, SQL) to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with clinical, operational, and IT teams to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with relevant healthcare regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).
• Stay abreast of emerging trends in healthcare analytics and data science methodologies.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) as a Health Data Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role, focusing on healthcare data.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data querying and manipulation.
• Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python, SAS).
• Deep understanding of healthcare data sources, structures (EHRs, claims, registries), and terminologies (ICD-10, CPT, SNOMED).
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to translate technical findings into business insights.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
• Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to healthcare privacy regulations (HIPAA).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Data Science, or a related field.
