In this role you will design scalable processes, own key performance metrics, and collaborate with leadership to turn ambitious goals into measurable results—all from the comfort of your home office.
About the Role
As the General and Operations Manager you will sit at the intersection of strategy and execution. You will translate high‑level objectives into actionable roadmaps, oversee day‑to‑day operations across product, marketing, and customer success, and ensure that every team has the resources, clarity, and accountability needed to deliver on time. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and partners closely with the VP of Product and the Head of People.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an operating cadence (OKRs, weekly business reviews, quarterly planning) that aligns all departments.
- Own the end‑to‑end budgeting process, forecasting headcount, tooling, and program spend.
- Design and implement process‑improvement frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile) to reduce cycle time and increase throughput.
- Lead vendor management and negotiate contracts for SaaS, infrastructure, and professional services.
- Champion data‑driven decision making by building dashboards and reporting pipelines in Looker/Tableau.
- Act as the primary point of contact for audit, compliance, and risk‑mitigation initiatives.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive operations or general management experience in a high‑growth tech or SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of scaling organizations from 50 to 500+ employees.
- Deep expertise with OKR methodology, financial modeling, and capacity planning.
- Strong command of SQL, Python, or R for ad‑hoc analysis; familiarity with BI tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to board‑level audiences.
- Ability to thrive in an asynchronous, globally distributed team (core overlap 10 am–2 pm ET).
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
- Experience managing remote‑first culture programs (onboarding, engagement, performance).
- Background in regulated industries (FinTech, HealthTech) with SOC‑2 / HIPAA compliance.
Benefits & Perks
- Competitive equity package with annual refresh grants.
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage for you and dependents.
- Unlimited PTO plus 10 company‑wide holidays.
- $2,500 annual home‑office stipend and a one‑time $1,500 ergonomic equipment allowance.
- Quarterly learning budget ($1,000) for courses, conferences, or certifications.
- Paid parental leave (16 weeks) and a flexible return‑to‑work program.
Salary Range
$130,000 – $170,000 USD per year, plus equity and performance‑based bonuses. Final compensation is determined by experience, location‑adjusted cost of living, and interview assessment.
