About the Role

As our Remote Fundraising Officer, you will design and execute fundraising strategies that expand donor participation and strengthen community support for Northstar Impact Foundation. You will manage the full donor lifecycle—from prospect research and outreach to cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and retention—using a thoughtful, data-informed approach.

This is a fully remote position for residents of the United States. You will collaborate with program leaders, communications specialists, and executive partners through virtual meetings, giving you the freedom to work effectively from anywhere in the country.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and manage email, phone, direct-mail, and digital fundraising campaigns.
• Identify, qualify, and cultivate prospective donors, corporate partners, and grant opportunities.
• Prepare personalized solicitation materials, donor proposals, and campaign updates.
• Maintain accurate donor records and provide timely, meaningful follow-up.
• Track fundraising performance and use insights to improve conversion and retention.
• Partner with internal teams to align fundraising messages with organizational priorities.

Requirements

Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this Remote Fundraising Officer position is $48,000–$68,000 USD, depending on experience, location, and demonstrated fundraising results. A performance-based annual bonus may also be available.
