We’re seeking a dynamic Fundraising Officer to join our mission‑driven organization and help secure the resources needed to advance our community projects. In this fully remote role, you’ll collaborate with a passionate team, craft compelling donor stories, and exceed fundraising targets while building lasting relationships with supporters across Texas.

About the Role

As the Fundraising Officer, you will be the voice of our organization, translating our vision into persuasive appeals that resonate with individuals, corporations, and foundations. You’ll manage the full fundraising lifecycle—from prospect research and proposal development to event planning and post‑grant reporting—ensuring transparency and impact are communicated at every step.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a diversified donor pipeline, targeting high‑potential prospects within Texas and nationwide.
• Draft compelling grant proposals, campaign briefs, and stewardship communications that highlight program outcomes.
• Plan and execute fundraising events, webinars, and digital campaigns to engage new audiences.
• Conduct prospect research using data tools and industry reports to identify funding opportunities.
• Monitor fundraising metrics, prepare regular reports, and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with donor privacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Fundraising, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field, and a minimum of 3–5 years of professional fundraising experience. Proven success in securing six‑ and seven‑figure campaigns is highly desirable.

Essential Skills & Qualities

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a talent for storytelling.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret donor data and recommend strategic shifts.
• Project management expertise, including proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Blackbaud, Salesforce).

Benefits & Compensation
