Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire protection engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one
  • Fire Protection Engineer (FPE) certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and standards
  • Experience with fire modeling software (e.g., FDS, Pyrosim)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit)
  • Familiarity with hydraulic calculation software
