Salary Range

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Engineer to join our global engineering squad. In this fully remote capacity, you’ll be responsible for:

• Developing and validating fire protection designs for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.
• Conducting risk assessments, fire flow calculations, and smoke control analyses using industry-standard software.
• Collaborating with architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with NFPA, OSHA, and local codes.
• Authoring detailed reports, specifications, and technical documentation that guide construction and commissioning.
• Participating in virtual design reviews, client meetings, and cross‑functional workshops.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 4 years’ professional experience in fire protection design or consulting.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects from concept through construction.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and fire modeling tools (e.g., Fire Dynamics Simulator, IES VE).
• Strong understanding of NFPA standards (NFPA 1, NFPA 101, NFPA 221, etc.).
• Experience with hydraulic calculations, sprinkler design, and smoke control systems.

Professional Credentials

• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Fire Protection or related discipline (preferred).
• Valid certifications such as Certified Fire Protection Engineer (CFPE) or Certified Fire Safety Inspector (CFSI) are a plus.
