About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive fire hazard analyses and risk assessments for diverse client facilities

Requirements

Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Fire Science, or related engineering field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire
• Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) or similar industry certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 20% for client meetings when required

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fire protection engineering or related field
• Proven track record in fire hazard analysis and code compliance consulting
• Strong proficiency with fire modeling software (such as CFAST, FDS, or PyroSim)
• Experience with NFPA standards, International Building Code, and local fire codes
• Excellent communication skills with ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly

Salary Range

$75,000 – $95,000 USD/year
