Key Responsibilities

System Design & Engineering

• Develop comprehensive fire protection plans using AutoCAD and Revit.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure all designs strictly adhere to NFPA standards, IBC, and local building codes.
• Conduct remote peer reviews of engineering drawings to maintain zero-error benchmarks.
• Coordinate with AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction) to secure project approvals.

Collaboration & Strategy

• Participate in virtual design coordination meetings with architects and MEP engineers.
• Provide expert technical guidance on fire risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated on the latest fire safety technologies and integrate them into project workflows.

Requirements

We are looking for a professional who blends technical mastery with the discipline required for remote work. To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field.
• Certification: PE (Professional Engineer) license is highly preferred. NICET certification in Fire Protection and Life Safety is a significant plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire protection design.
