About the Role

As the Remote Financial Manager, you will oversee all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and reporting for a company serving clients across North America. You’ll collaborate closely with the CEO, product leads, and the operations team to build scalable financial models, manage cash flow, and ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulations. Your insights will directly influence pricing strategy, funding decisions, and long‑term growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain rolling 12‑month forecasts, annual budgets, and scenario analyses.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with variance commentary.
• Lead the month‑end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all entities.
• Design and monitor KPI dashboards for revenue, churn, CAC, LTV, and burn rate.
• Partner with department heads to evaluate ROI on new initiatives and capital expenditures.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
• Implement and optimize financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Adaptive Insights) for automation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA or CFA preferred.

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
