About the Role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Estimator to produce accurate cost projections for commercial and residential building projects. You will partner with sales teams, review blueprints, and evaluate material specifications to deliver reliable budgets that keep projects on schedule and within financial targets. Remote Estimators play a pivotal role in winning new contracts and supporting the company’s expansion across the country.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze project plans, blueprints, and specifications to calculate material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bid documents, and value‑engineering recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain a robust database of historical cost data and update pricing models to reflect market fluctuations.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure estimate accuracy and timely delivery.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership during bid reviews and project kickoff meetings.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A minimum of three years of experience in construction estimating, preferably within commercial or residential development, is required. Proficiency with estimating software such as CostOS, Sage Estimating, or Buildertrend is essential, along with strong Excel skills. Excellent communication abilities, a keen eye for detail, and the capacity to work independently in a remote environment are critical for success.

Salary Range
