About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings and project specifications to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates using industry-standard software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or Sage Estimating.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to validate assumptions and refine estimates.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about pricing fluctuations and supply chain dynamics.
• Develop and maintain databases of historical project data to improve estimation accuracy.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear, concise reports.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in commercial or infrastructure sectors.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong understanding of building codes, materials, and construction methods.
