Direct high-impact electrical projects across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure landscapes without leaving home. We combine agile delivery, rigorous safety standards, and smart technology to power results that scale, on time and on budget.

You will orchestrate cross-functional teams, streamline procurement, and turn complex scopes into predictable milestones while advancing sustainable energy practices that clients trust and markets reward.

About the Role

As a Remote Electrical Project Manager, you own the end-to-end lifecycle of electrical delivery programs spanning design coordination, permitting, procurement, field execution, and closeout. While you work from home, your influence extends across job sites, client boardrooms, and vendor networks through clear communication, decisive leadership, and meticulous documentation. Projects may include commercial campuses, industrial facilities, data centers, healthcare environments, and renewable energy integrations, each demanding precision, compliance, and financial stewardship.

We operate with a hybrid-remote mindset that centralizes planning and accountability online while empowering local partners to execute safely in the field. You will translate strategic goals into detailed work breakdowns, align resource plans, and monitor budgets in real time. By standardizing workflows and leveraging digital tools, you reduce rework, accelerate commissioning, and elevate client confidence without ever compromising safety or quality.

Core Responsibilities

  • Define project scopes, objectives, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders and technical leads.
  • Develop comprehensive schedules, cost baselines, and risk registers; monitor performance and execute corrective actions swiftly.
  • Lead subcontractor selection, contract administration, and change order management while protecting margin and relationships.
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction teams to resolve clashes, expedite deliveries, and ensure code and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee commissioning, testing, and documentation to deliver complete, audit-ready packages for owner acceptance.
  • Champion safety culture, incident prevention, and environmental best practices across distributed workforces.
  • Maintain transparent client communication through status reports, dashboards, and milestone reviews that build trust and enable rapid decisions.

Requirements

We seek a disciplined leader who blends technical depth with business acumen and remote collaboration excellence. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, translating complexity into action, and holding teams accountable in a digital-first environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field; relevant master’s or professional certifications are valued.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in electrical project delivery, with at least 3 years leading multidisciplinary teams and budgets.
  • Proven track record managing commercial, industrial, or utility-scale electrical projects from concept through closeout.
  • Strong command of NEC, local codes, OSHA standards, and commissioning protocols; familiarity with renewable and microgrid systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency with project controls tools, BIM coordination processes, and ERP platforms; ability to extract insight from schedules and cost data.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills tailored to executives, clients, and field personnel alike.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize under pressure, and sustain high performance in a fully remote setting.
  • Valid professional engineering license or Project Management Professional credential preferred but not mandatory for exceptionally experienced candidates.

Salary Range

$95,000 – $135,000 USD/year, commensurate with experience, project complexity, and geography. Target compensation reflects base salary and is inclusive of performance-linked incentives tied to delivery, safety, and client satisfaction outcomes.

We invest in your growth, health, and long-term success with benefits designed for remote professionals who deliver extraordinary results.
