About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote Electrical Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of electrical projects across commercial, industrial, and renewable energy sectors. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineers, contractors, procurement specialists, and client stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery. You’ll be responsible for developing project timelines, managing budgets, mitigating risks, and ensuring all work complies with safety standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies for electrical construction projects
• Manage project budgets ranging from $500K to $5M, tracking expenditures and ensuring financial targets are met
• Coordinate with engineering teams to review technical specifications and design documents
• Conduct regular project status meetings with stakeholders and prepare detailed progress reports
• Identify potential risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies
• Ensure all projects comply with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and local electrical codes
• Manage vendor relationships and subcontractor performance throughout project lifecycle
• Lead commissioning activities and final project closeout procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical project management within construction or engineering firms
• Proven track record managing commercial or industrial electrical projects valued at $1M+
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and renewable energy technologies
• Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar)
• Current PMP or PE license preferred
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Ability to travel up to 20% for site visits and client meetings
