About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of commercial and industrial electrical projects. This 100 % remote position empowers you to manage budgets, schedules, and stakeholder expectations from your home office, leveraging cloud‑based project tools and virtual site walks. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal engineering staff, ensuring every project meets code compliance, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.

What You’ll Do

Project Planning & Controls

• Develop detailed project scopes, work breakdown structures, and critical‑path schedules.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, tracking costs against forecasts with weekly variance reports.
• Coordinate permitting, utility interconnections, and regulatory approvals across multiple jurisdictions.

Team Leadership & Coordination

• Lead remote project teams of electrical engineers, designers, and field technicians.
• Facilitate daily stand‑ups, weekly progress meetings, and monthly steering‑committee reviews via video conference.
• Mentor junior staff on best practices for NEC compliance, load calculations, and BIM coordination.

Client & Vendor Management

• Serve as the trusted advisor for clients, translating technical requirements into clear deliverables.
• Negotiate contracts, change orders, and procurement agreements with vendors and subcontractors.
• Conduct virtual site inspections and coordinate on‑site representatives for critical milestones.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience managing commercial/industrial electrical projects ≥ $5 M.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one U.S. state; multi‑state licensure a plus.
• Proven expertise with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent scheduling software.
• Strong command of NEC 2023, NFPA 70E, and relevant local amendments.

Preferred

• PMP or CCM certification.
• Experience with renewable energy (solar PV, battery storage) or data‑center electrical infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam for BIM‑based coordination.

Salary Range

Estimated compensation: $115,000 – $145,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience, licensure, and project portfolio complexity. Performance‑based bonuses and profit‑sharing are available for top contributors.
