You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including project managers, civil engineers, and software developers—to translate complex technical requirements into robust, manufacturable designs that meet strict safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts, and cable schedules using AutoCAD Electrical, Revit, or similar CAD tools.
  • Conduct load calculations, fault analysis, and power factor studies to ensure designs meet regulatory and customer specifications.
  • Coordinate with procurement to select appropriate components, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as IEC, UL, and NEMA.
  • Perform design reviews and coordinate with commissioning teams to troubleshoot and resolve design‑related issues.
  • Document design changes, maintain version control, and produce comprehensive technical reports for project stakeholders.
  • Stay current with evolving standards, emerging technologies (e.g., IoT, battery storage), and best practices in electrical design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical DesignG or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical design for power distribution or grid infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, Revit MEP, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, IEC, and UL standards, as well as experience with load flow analysis tools.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of collaborating remotely across diverse teams.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently while maintaining a high level of accountability.
