Are you an innovative electrical designer looking for a dynamic, fully remote role where your creativity can shape the future of smart infrastructure? At NeuroGrid Solutions, we’re reshaping how cities manage energy, and we need a talented designer to bring our ambitious projects to life. Dive in and help us build the next generation of sustainable, intelligent power systems.

About the Role

As a Remote Electrical Designer at NeuroGrid Solutions, you’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, software developers, and project managers to design, simulate, and document electrical systems for smart grid applications. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing detailed schematics, layout drawings, and electrical specifications for new infrastructure projects.
  • Utilizing CAD and simulation tools (AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, MATLAB) to produce accurate models and troubleshoot design issues.
  • Co‑creating integration plans that align electrical designs with IoT sensors and data analytics platforms.
  • Ensuring compliance with national and international standards (IEEE, IEC, NEC) while maintaining cost‑effective solutions.
  • Leading design reviews, providing feedback, and mentoring junior designers remotely.

What We’re Looking For

NeuroGrid Solutions thrives on people who bring passion, precision, and a collaborative spirit. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 4+ years of experience in electrical design for large‑scale projects, preferably in utility or smart‑city domains.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and simulation tools (ETAP, PSS/E, MATLAB).
  • Strong understanding of power distribution, protection schemes, and renewable integration.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to articulate complex designs to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with remote collaboration platforms (Microsoft Teams, Slack, Miro) and version control (Git).
  • A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Why Join NeuroGrid Solutions?

Working with us means you’ll enjoy a flexible, fully remote environment that respects your work‑life balance while offering the challenge of cutting‑edge technology. Here’s what we bring to the table:
