About the Role

As our Remote Electrical Designer, you will be pivotal in developing comprehensive electrical designs for a diverse portfolio of projects. You’ll collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to translate conceptual ideas into detailed, code-compliant electrical plans. Your work will span schematic design through construction documentation, utilizing AutoCAD and Revit Electrical. Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed electrical layouts, schematics, and specifications for various building types.

Utilize AutoCAD Electrical and Revit Electrical software proficiently to create and manage electrical drawings.

Ensure all designs comply with NEC (National Electrical Code), local building codes, and project-specific requirements.

Prepare clear and concise technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in electrical design within the construction industry.

Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and Revit Electrical.

Strong understanding of electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, grounding, conduit, raceways, panels, motors, controls).

Excellent knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) and relevant local/state building codes.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for remote teamwork.

Experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud) is a plus.

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Electrical Engineering is highly desirable.
