About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop comprehensive electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, and other industry‑standard tools. Conduct detailed load calculations, short‑circuit analyses, and protective device coordination to ensure safe and reliable system performance. Work closely with project managers, civil engineers, and field technicians to integrate electrical designs into multidisciplinary projects. Perform rigorous code compliance checks against NEC, IEC, and local regulations, and generate detailed documentation for client review. Additionally, provide technical support during the implementation phase, troubleshoot design issues, and continuously refine designs based on feedback and evolving project requirements.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and possess at least three years of professional experience designing electrical systems for commercial or industrial applications. Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, and Microsoft Office Suite is essential. A solid understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards, and relevant local codes is required. Strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical.
