About the Role

In this position, you will translate conceptual ideas into precise electrical designs using industry‑standard CAD and simulation tools. You’ll be responsible for producing detailed wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and cable schedules that meet client specifications, regulatory codes, and sustainability goals. The role demands a blend of technical expertise, creative problem‑solving, and strong communication skills to ensure designs are both functional and manufacturable.

• Develop single‑line diagrams, schematics, and 3D layouts for power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
• Perform load calculations, short‑circuit analyses, and voltage drop studies to validate design integrity.
• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and software teams to resolve interdisciplinary conflicts early in the design process.
• Maintain accurate revision histories, BOMs, and documentation packages for manufacturing and field installation teams.
• Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and incorporating stakeholder input.
• Stay current with emerging technologies such as smart grids, energy storage, and IoT‑enabled controls.

Requirements

Technical Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Minimum 3 years of experience designing electrical systems for commercial, industrial, or utility‑scale projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or SolidWorks Electrical; familiarity with Revit MEP is a plus.
• Solid understanding of NEC, IEC, and ISO standards applicable to power distribution and control systems.
• Experience performing calculations using ETAP, SKM PowerTools, or similar software.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and architectural plans.
