Salary Range

About the Role

The Remote Director of Clinical Services will be the strategic backbone of a multi‑state telemedicine platform serving over 2 million patients annually. Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, you will:

• Design and implement clinical protocols that meet or exceed state and federal compliance standards.
• Lead a virtual team of 50+ physicians, nurse practitioners, and allied health professionals across the United States.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to embed evidence‑based care pathways into the digital platform.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and cost‑effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
• Represent the organization at industry conferences, webinars, and advisory boards.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Strategy & Governance

• Establish and maintain clinical governance frameworks for all telehealth specialties.
• Oversee credentialing, licensing, and privileging processes for remote providers.
• Ensure alignment with Joint Commission, NCQA, and CMS regulations.

Team Leadership & Development

• Recruit, onboard, and retain top clinical talent through virtual hiring pipelines.
• Implement mentorship programs, quarterly performance reviews, and continuous education initiatives.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and patient‑centric care.

Quality Improvement & Data Analytics

• Leverage real‑time analytics dashboards to monitor clinical outcomes.
• Lead root‑cause analyses for adverse events and develop corrective action plans.
• Publish internal whitepapers and external research findings to showcase thought leadership.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Public Health, or related field (Doctorate preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of progressive clinical leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a telehealth or virtual care setting.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice in at least two U.S. states (or ability to obtain).
• Demonstrated success in building and scaling remote clinical teams.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and state telemedicine statutes.
• Exceptional communication skills; comfort presenting to C‑suite executives and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).

Preferred Qualifications
