About the Role
This is a 100% remote Dentist position for residents of the United States. You will provide virtual dental consultations, review radiographs and digital impressions, develop treatment plans, and communicate recommendations directly with patients and affiliated dental providers.
The role focuses on tele-dentistry, preventive guidance, second opinions, and post-operative follow-up. Chairside procedures, surgical treatment, and other in-person services are not part of this remote position.
What You Will Do
- Conduct secure video consultations and assess patients’ dental histories and reported symptoms.
- Review digital X-rays, intraoral images, scans, and records provided by patients or affiliated practices.
- Create clear, evidence-based treatment plans and explain options, risks, and expected outcomes.
- Collaborate with hygienists, dental assistants, specialists, and care coordinators.
- Provide preventive guidance, second opinions, and appropriate post-treatment follow-up.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the approved electronic health record system.
- Follow privacy, cybersecurity, and clinical documentation standards at every stage of care.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery or Dental Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
- Active and unrestricted dentistry license in a U.S. state where you are legally permitted to practice remotely.
- Current DEA registration when required for the services provided.
- At least two years of clinical dental experience, with telehealth experience preferred.
- Strong diagnostic judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to interpret radiographs, clinical photographs, scans, and written treatment records.
- Professional liability insurance or coverage approved by the employing organization.
- Reliable internet connection, private workspace, headset, webcam, and secure computer access.
