Join a forward‑thinking dental network that lets you deliver expert care through a secure virtual platform. Enjoy the freedom to set your schedule while impacting patients across the United States from the comfort of your home office.

About the Role

We are seeking a licensed Dentist to provide comprehensive tele‑dentistry services, including virtual consultations, treatment planning, prescription management, and follow‑up care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of hygienists, dental assistants, and specialists to ensure seamless patient experiences. This fully remote position allows you to practice from any state where you hold an active license, eliminating commute time and expanding your reach to underserved communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct live video examinations and asynchronous chart reviews for new and existing patients.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans, including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic recommendations.
  • Prescribe medications, order labs, and coordinate referrals to in‑person providers when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.
  • Participate in weekly case conferences and continuous quality‑improvement initiatives.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive strategies through digital resources.

Requirements

Licensure & Credentials

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited program.
  • Active, unrestricted dental license in at least one U.S. state; willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
  • DEA registration and current BLS/CPR certification.

Clinical Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of post‑residency clinical practice, with at least 1 year in a telehealth or remote care setting preferred.
  • Proficiency with digital imaging software, intraoral scanners, and major EHR platforms (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental).

Technical & Soft Skills

  • High‑speed internet, a private, HIPAA‑compliant workspace, and a professional‑grade webcam.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication for virtual patient interactions.
  • Strong clinical judgment to triage cases appropriate for remote management versus in‑person referral.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Board certification in a dental specialty (e.g., Orthodontics, Periodontics, Oral Surgery).
  • Experience with AI‑assisted diagnostic tools or teledentistry platforms such as TeleDent, MouthWatch, or Denteractive.
  • Background in public health or community outreach programs.

Salary Range

$150,000 – $210,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience, licensure portfolio, and case volume. Performance‑based bonuses and productivity incentives are available.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance (employer‑paid premiums).
  • 401(k) with 4% company match.
  • Generous paid time off, including continuing‑education days.
  • Annual stipend for home‑office equipment, licensure fees, and CE courses.
  • Malpractice insurance covered by the organization.
  • Flexible scheduling – choose full‑time, part‑time, or per‑diem blocks.

Company Culture

Our network is built on a patient‑first philosophy powered by technology. We value clinical autonomy, evidence‑based innovation, and a collaborative spirit that transcends geography. Team members enjoy regular virtual town halls, peer‑mentoring circles, and access to a curated library of the latest dental research. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are core to our hiring and promotion practices.

How to Succeed in This Role

Successful remote dentists thrive on self‑direction, leverage digital tools to replicate the in‑office experience, and maintain rigorous documentation standards. Proactive communication with the support team ensures smooth hand‑offs for procedures that require physical intervention. Continuous learning—especially in emerging teledentistry protocols—keeps you at the forefront of virtual oral health care.
