You will act as the first line of defense against downtime, analyzing alerts, reviewing logs, and coordinating with local vendors or on-site staff when physical intervention is required. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor infrastructure health using remote management tools and dashboards.
• Perform remote troubleshooting for hardware and software failures.
• Manage ticket queues and ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
• Review and approve change requests for server configurations.
• Track inventory and ensure asset records are accurate.
• Analyze environmental data to predict and prevent equipment failures.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you need a solid technical foundation and the ability to work autonomously. You must be comfortable making decisions under pressure and communicating clearly via chat, email, and video calls.

Technical Skills

• 2+ years of experience in IT support, data center operations, or system administration.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and common protocols.
• Experience with remote console tools (IPMI, iLO, Baseboard Management Controllers).
• Knowledge of server operating systems (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Familiarity with fire suppression, HVAC, and UPS systems.
