About the Role

As a Commissioning Manager, you will spearhead the successful startup and handover of critical energy and industrial projects. Your mission is to ensure seamless integration of equipment, systems, and processes from pre-commissioning through final performance testing. You’ll collaborate with global stakeholders, oversee field teams, and guarantee that every project meets rigorous quality, safety, and performance benchmarks. Key Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning activities for large-scale energy projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant execution.
• Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists aligned with industry standards (ISO, API, NEC).
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) teams to resolve technical challenges and optimize workflows.
• Conduct performance testing, system validation, and operator training to guarantee seamless project handover.
• Manage field teams and vendors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality assurance protocols.
• Act as the primary interface between clients, contractors, and internal departments to drive project success.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in commissioning management, with at least 5 years in remote or hybrid leadership roles.
• Proven expertise in energy sectors: power generation, renewables (solar/wind), oil & gas, or petrochemical industries.
• Strong knowledge of commissioning standards (e.g., API 6A, IEC 61511) and project lifecycle management tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams virtually.

Preferred Attributes

• Certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or safety (NEBOSH, OSHA).
