About the Role

As our Commissioning Manager, you will be the driving force behind the successful start-up, testing, and handover of complex systems across energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure sectors. Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

• Develop and execute comprehensive commissioning plans, schedules, and budgets for multiple concurrent projects.
• Oversee pre-commissioning checks, functional performance testing, and final system handover procedures.
• Manage commissioning teams both on-site and remotely, ensuring clear communication and accountability at every stage.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure all commissioning activities comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
• Maintain detailed documentation, as-built records, and commissioning reports for audit readiness.
• Identify and mitigate risks early through proactive quality control measures and root-cause analysis.

Stakeholder Communication

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal leadership regarding commissioning status.
• Facilitate progress reviews, technical briefings, and post-project lessons-learned sessions.
• Provide regular updates to senior management using data-driven KPIs and project dashboards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in commissioning, construction management, or project engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale commissioning projects valued at $10M+ from concept through completion.
• Deep understanding of commissioning methodologies, commissioning management software, and industry codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, IEEE, or equivalent).
• Strong proficiency with remote collaboration tools including Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6, and BIM platforms.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, remote work environment.
