About the Role

As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will own the end‑to‑end architecture of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency. You will translate business requirements into scalable designs, guide migration projects, and establish best‑practice frameworks that accelerate product delivery. Your expertise will directly influence the reliability and performance of services used by millions of customers.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

• Develop reference architectures for AWS, Azure, and GCP that support microservices, serverless, and containerized workloads.
• Create infrastructure‑as‑code templates using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi to enable repeatable deployments.

Migration & Optimization

• Lead lift‑and‑shift and re‑platforming initiatives, minimizing downtime and data loss.
• Implement cost‑governance policies, rightsizing recommendations, and automated scaling rules.

Security & Compliance

• Define guardrails for identity‑access management, network segmentation, and encryption standards.
• Partner with compliance teams to meet SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR requirements.

Collaboration & Enablement

• Mentor DevOps engineers and developers on cloud‑native patterns and CI/CD pipelines.
• Present architecture decisions to stakeholders and contribute to the technical roadmap.

Requirements

Technical Expertise

• 7+ years of hands‑on experience designing cloud solutions; at least 3 years in a lead architect capacity.
• Deep proficiency with at least two major public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) and relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
• Strong command of container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, AKS, GKE) and service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
• Extensive IaC experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi) and GitOps workflows.
• Proven track record implementing security frameworks, zero‑trust networks, and automated compliance checks.

Salary Range

$130,000 – $170,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience and geographic differentials.
