Join a forward‑thinking technology team where you’ll design scalable, secure cloud architectures that power mission‑critical applications for clients worldwide. As a Remote Cloud Solutions Architect, you’ll translate business goals into robust cloud strategies, mentor engineers, and stay ahead of emerging platforms—all from the comfort of your home office.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the end‑to‑end design of multi‑cloud environments, ensuring performance, cost‑efficiency, and compliance. You’ll collaborate with product managers, DevOps engineers, and security teams to create blueprints that accelerate digital transformation while reducing operational overhead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and validate cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Conduct technical workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into detailed architecture diagrams.
  • Evaluate emerging cloud services and recommend adoption paths that align with business objectives.
  • Develop cost‑optimization models, perform TCO analyses, and guide teams toward right‑sizing resources.
  • Ensure security, governance, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR) are embedded in every design.
  • Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Produce clear documentation, runbooks, and presentation materials for executive and technical audiences.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of hands‑on experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructures.
  • Deep expertise in at least two major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) including networking, storage, compute, and serverless services.
  • Proven track record of delivering large‑scale migration or green‑field projects with measurable ROI.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices, IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communication abilities; capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with hybrid and multi‑cloud strategies, including workload portability and data sovereignty considerations.
  • Background in container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, AKS, GKE) and service mesh technologies.
  • Knowledge of FinOps principles and cloud cost management tools.
  • Familiarity with industry‑specific compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, FedRAMP).
  • Proven leadership in cross‑functional, globally distributed teams.

Benefits

Compensation & Perks

  • Competitive salary range: $130,000 – $180,000 USD/year, based on experience and location.
  • Annual performance bonus and equity participation.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans for you and your dependents.
  • Generous paid time off, parental leave, and company‑observed holidays.
  • Annual learning stipend for certifications, conferences, and courses.
  • Home office setup allowance and ergonomic equipment.
  • Wellness programs, including mental health resources and fitness subsidies.

Culture & Work Environment

We champion a results‑only work environment where trust, autonomy, and continuous improvement drive success. Our distributed team spans multiple time zones, yet we stay connected through regular virtual stand‑ups, knowledge‑sharing sessions, and quarterly global meet‑ups (travel covered). Diversity, inclusion, and psychological safety are core to our hiring and promotion practices.
