About the Role

As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be the technical authority responsible for defining the vision, design, and implementation of cloud strategies that align with business objectives. You will collaborate with product managers, DevOps engineers, security specialists, and senior leadership to translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to a globally distributed team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end design of cloud solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and cost‑optimization.
• Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, reference architectures, and governance frameworks.
• Guide migration strategies from on‑premises and legacy systems to modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Partner with engineering teams to implement infrastructure as code (IaC) and automate deployment pipelines.
• Drive security best practices, compliance adherence, and disaster recovery planning.
• Mentor junior architects and provide technical leadership through code reviews and design sessions.
• Communicate architectural decisions to stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business value.

Requirements

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience designing and implementing cloud solutions across multiple platforms.
• Deep expertise in at least two major cloud providers (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Strong command of infrastructure services (compute, storage, networking, databases) and serverless technologies.
• Proven experience with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
