About the Role

As a Remote Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be the strategic bridge between business goals and cutting-edge cloud technology. You will design robust architectures, guide engineering teams, and align cloud solutions with long-term organizational objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions that are resilient, highly available, and fault-tolerant.
• Lead the design of landing zones, microservices, and serverless architectures while ensuring best practices in security and cost management.
• Collaborate with DevOps, software engineering, and product teams to define technical roadmaps and migration strategies.
• Conduct architectural reviews and provide technical guidance on cloud governance, identity management, and data protection.
• Evaluate third-party tools and services to optimize performance and reduce vendor lock-in.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation, diagrams, and runbooks for internal teams and stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

We need more than someone who simply knows the cloud—we need a true architect who understands the “why” behind every design choice. You should be comfortable presenting to C-level executives, mentoring junior engineers, and making data-driven decisions that balance innovation with reliability.

Requirements

• Experience: 7+ years in cloud computing with at least 3 years in an architectural role designing multi-tenant solutions.
• Certifications: Active AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect (one required; multiple is a plus).
• Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS), and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with serverless frameworks (Lambda, Cloud Functions), event-driven architectures, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Security: Strong understanding of zero-trust models, encryption standards, and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR).
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate technical complexity into business value.

Salary Range

We believe in compensating top talent fairly. For this role, we offer a competitive salary range of $145,000 – $185,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience, certifications, and geographic location.
