Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough background investigations including criminal history, employment verification, education verification, and reference checks.

• Prepare detailed, fact-based investigative reports that meet client and regulatory standards (FCRA compliance).
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the highest level of integrity.
• Meet daily and weekly productivity targets while maintaining quality standards (typically 95%+ accuracy).
• Stay current on federal, state, and local laws related to background screening and data privacy.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in background investigations, pre-employment screening, paralegal work, law enforcement, private investigation, or a related field.
• Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
