Join NexusAI Solutions as a Remote Artificial Intelligence Engineer and design cutting‑edge machine‑learning pipelines that power real‑world products. We offer a fully distributed culture, competitive compensation, and the autonomy to turn research into production‑grade intelligence.

About the Role

As an Artificial Intelligence Engineer at NexusAI Solutions, you will own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of AI models—from data exploration and model architecture to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and software developers to embed intelligent capabilities into our SaaS platform used by Fortune‑500 clients worldwide. This position is 100 % remote; you can work from any U.S. location while enjoying a flexible schedule that respects work‑life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, train, and optimize deep‑learning and traditional ML models for natural language processing, computer vision, and tabular data.
  • Build scalable data pipelines and feature stores using Python, Spark, and cloud-native tools (AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, or Azure ML).
  • Implement MLOps best practices: automated testing, versioned model registries, CI/CD for model deployment, and drift detection.
  • Conduct rigorous experimentation, A/B testing, and statistical analysis to validate model performance against business KPIs.
  • Mentor junior data scientists, contribute to internal knowledge bases, and present findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent industry experience).
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience developing production‑grade ML systems.
  • Expert proficiency in Python and major ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or Hugging Face Transformers).
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals: Git, Docker, Kubernetes, unit testing, and clean code principles.
  • Proven track record deploying models on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large‑scale language models, prompt engineering, or retrieval‑augmented generation.
  • Contributions to open‑source ML libraries or peer‑reviewed publications in top conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR).
  • Familiarity with responsible AI practices: bias mitigation, explainability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Background in domain‑specific applications such as healthcare analytics, fintech risk modeling, or autonomous systems.

Salary Range

$130,000 – $180,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience, location differentials, and performance bonuses. The range reflects current market rates for senior AI engineering talent in a fully remote U.S. setting.

Benefits & Perks

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage for you and dependents.
  • 401(k) with 4 % company match, fully vested immediately.
  • Unlimited PTO plus 10 paid company holidays.
  • $2,500 annual learning stipend for courses, certifications, or conferences.
  • Home‑office setup allowance ($1,500) and monthly internet reimbursement.
  • Quarterly virtual hackathons and innovation days to explore passion projects.
  • Employee‑resource groups, mental‑wellness programs, and a strong DEI commitment.
