We are seeking a talented Artificial Intelligence Engineer to design, develop, and deploy cutting‑edge AI solutions that power our next‑generation products. Working fully remote, you’ll collaborate with a diverse, international team of data scientists, software engineers, and product leaders to turn research breakthroughs into real‑world impact.

About the Role

As an AI Engineer, you will own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of machine learning models—from data ingestion and feature engineering to model training, evaluation, and production deployment. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate business challenges into AI‑driven opportunities, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and ethically sound.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement machine learning algorithms for computer vision, natural language processing, and predictive analytics.
  • Build robust data pipelines using Python, SQL, and cloud‑based services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Train, fine‑tune, and validate models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit‑learn.
  • Deploy models to production via REST APIs, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and serverless architectures.
  • Monitor model performance, drift, and latency; initiate retraining cycles as needed.
  • Collaborate with product managers to define AI feature roadmaps and success metrics.
  • Stay current with emerging AI research and incorporate relevant techniques into company projects.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in code quality, reproducibility, and responsible AI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands‑on experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with libraries such as NumPy, pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS SageMaker, GCP AI Platform, Azure ML) and container orchestration.
  • Solid grasp of version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Publications or contributions to top‑tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, ACL).
  • Knowledge of MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or Weights & Biases.
  • Experience with reinforcement learning, generative models, or large‑scale language models.
  • Familiarity with GPU programming (CUDA) and performance optimization techniques.
  • Background in a specific domain such as healthcare, finance, autonomous systems, or e‑commerce.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary plus annual performance bonus.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans for you and your dependents.
  • Generous paid time off, company holidays, and parental leave.
  • Annual learning stipend for courses, conferences, and certifications.
  • Remote‑first culture with flexible hours and optional coworking stipend.
  • Equity/stock options aligned with company growth.
  • Wellness programs, including mental health resources and fitness subsidies.
  • Opportunity to work on impactful AI projects with a global, collaborative team.

Salary Range

Based on industry standards for mid‑level AI engineers in a remote setting, the expected compensation for this role is $110,000 – $150,000 USD per year, adjusted for experience, location‑based cost of living adjustments, and performance.
