Key Responsibilities

• Create and edit 3D CAD models using SolidWorks, CATIA, or comparable software.
• Develop detailed 2D drawings, bill of materials, and manufacturing specifications.
• Perform finite element analysis and stress testing to validate design integrity.
• Collaborate with product managers, electrical engineers, and manufacturers to optimize designs for manufacturability.
• Document design changes and maintain version control in PLM systems.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and material substitution without compromising quality.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in mechanical design, preferably within manufacturing or product development.
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or Autodesk Inventor.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, material properties, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with FEA or CFD analysis is a plus.
