TEEMA is seeking a Senior Workers Compensation Claims Examiner to manage complex claims for California clients, working remotely from Los Angeles, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and adjudicate high‑complexity workers’ compensation claims.
• Make independent decisions on claim settlements, medical reviews, and return‑to‑work recommendations.
• Collaborate with attorneys, medical providers, and insurers to gather necessary documentation.
• Ensure compliance with California workers’ compensation statutes and TEEMA’s internal policies.
• Mentor junior examiners and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in workers’ compensation claims handling, preferably within a TPA environment.
• In‑depth knowledge of California workers’ comp law and regulations.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills with proven decision‑making authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with claims management software and Microsoft Office suite.
