About the Role
As a 2nd‑shift Welder/Fabricator you will join a skilled team that creates custom specialty trailers, vehicles, and large‑format printed elements for top brands such as Boeing, PepsiCo, and Anheuser‑Busch.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, and SMAW welding on steel and aluminum components according to engineering drawings.
- Fabricate structural frames, brackets, and chassis using cutting, drilling, and forming equipment.
- Inspect welds for quality, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to resolve fabrication challenges.
- Maintain a clean, safe 2nd‑shift work area and adhere to OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Assist with finishing processes, including paint preparation and graphic application.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; technical welding certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of professional welding/fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques; ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Basic math skills for measurements and tolerances.
- Strong work ethic, reliability for 2nd‑shift hours (typically 3 pm – 11 pm).
