Warehouse Operator

BD is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join its distribution team in Durham, Durham County, US. This role supports the handling, storage, and movement of medical technology products across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record inbound shipments of medical devices and supplies.
• Pick, pack, and stage orders for outbound delivery, ensuring accuracy and compliance with BD’s quality standards.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material‑handling equipment safely.
• Maintain organized, clean, and hazard‑free warehouse aisles and storage areas.
• Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies in the warehouse management system.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to meet on‑time delivery targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; additional logistics or supply‑chain training is a plus.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, preferably in medical or regulated industries.
• Valid forklift certification and ability to operate other warehouse equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with WMS or ERP systems is advantageous.

Compensation & Benefits
