About This Position
Job Summary
Tyree and D’Angelo Partners is seeking a Vice President of Compliance to join its Dallas, Texas office. This senior role reports directly to the CEO and offers a fixed salary of $228,842.19.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee the company’s compliance framework across all business units.
- Lead risk assessments, internal audits, and regulatory reporting to ensure adherence to federal and state laws.
- Advise senior leadership on emerging compliance trends and recommend strategic actions.
- Manage a team of compliance analysts, providing mentorship and performance feedback.
- Coordinate with external counsel and regulators during examinations and investigations.
- Maintain up‑to‑date policies, procedures, and training programs for employees.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (CPE, CPA, or CCEP) preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive compliance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Deep knowledge of US financial regulations, SEC, Dodd‑Frank, and industry‑specific standards.
- Proven track record of building and scaling compliance programs in private‑equity or investment environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Location & Work Environment
Position is based in Highland Park, Dallas, TX. In‑person presence is strongly preferred to facilitate close collaboration with the executive team and portfolio companies.
