Job Summary

Actalent is seeking a Validation Scientist to join its team in Manchester, Hillsborough County, US. This role supports QC equipment validation, develops validation plans, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support QC equipment validation processes to enable timely release of test equipment.
• Author validation plans, protocols, and comprehensive risk assessments for all validation activities.
• Assist in the creation, review, and execution of change controls for laboratory equipment.
• Develop science‑based solutions that drive continuous improvement and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate and execute validation protocol activities, including testing, data analysis, and documentation.
• Review, approve, and document change controls, deviations, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure validation activities align with project timelines and quality objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field.
• Experience with equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) and validation documentation.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, and FDA regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies (FMEA, HACCP, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Compensation

Salary: $99,806.46 per year.
