Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and underwrite complex commercial risks across all classes of insurance.
• Collaborate with Northbridge’s broker network to develop customized coverage solutions.
• Maintain compliance with underwriting guidelines, pricing policies, and business objectives.
• Manage the full lifecycle of assigned accounts, including renewals, endorsements, and claims support.
• Provide expert advice to brokers and clients on risk mitigation and coverage options.
• Monitor market trends and recommend adjustments to underwriting strategies.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2‑3 years of experience in commercial underwriting or related insurance roles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex risk factors.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, especially when working with brokers.
• Proficiency in underwriting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Relevant underwriting certifications (e.g., CPCU, ARM) are an advantage.
