Job Summary

Sunayu is seeking a TS/SCI‑cleared UI/UX Front‑End Development Engineer to design and build high‑quality web applications for a Department of Defense program in Bethesda, Montgomery County, MD. This onsite/hybrid role offers a competitive salary of $145,563.50 per year.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive front‑end interfaces using modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and HTML5/CSS3.
• Collaborate with UX designers, back‑end engineers, and product owners to translate requirements into functional UI components.
• Implement accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and ensure cross‑browser compatibility.
• Write clean, testable code and conduct unit/integration testing.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.
• Maintain security best practices to meet Top Secret/SCI clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with eligibility for rehiring.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of professional front‑end development experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, modern UI libraries, and build tools (Webpack, Babel).
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, design systems, and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch).
• Experience with secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) in a government environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
