About This Position
Job Summary
Maximus is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join its Little Rock, Pulaski County team. This full‑time role offers a fixed salary of $62,027.41 and provides the opportunity to design intuitive digital experiences for critical federal programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and subject‑matter experts to gather requirements and translate them into user‑centered designs.
- Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high‑fidelity visual assets using tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Conduct usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and incorporate feedback to iterate and improve designs.
- Maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across multiple government platforms.
- Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1) and adhere to federal UI standards.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and incorporate regulatory constraints.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of hands‑on UI/UX design experience, preferably on large‑scale, security‑focused applications.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end design processes and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, etc.).
- Knowledge of front‑end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to effectively communicate with development teams.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
