Key Responsibilities
- Design intuitive user interfaces and engaging user experiences for government‑focused web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and subject‑matter experts to translate requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to validate design decisions.

Required Qualifications

- Strong understanding of user‑centered design principles, information architecture, and responsive design.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in fast‑paced, cross‑functional teams.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with accessibility compliance, security‑focused applications, or defense‑related projects.
- Knowledge of front‑end development basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate design hand‑off.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence.
