Job Summary

ProKatchers is looking for a Travel Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to work on a 13‑week assignment in the Bronx, New York. The role pays $2,200 per week (approximately $114,400 per year) and involves monitoring patients, providing food‑drug interaction education and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ nutritional status and identify potential food‑drug interactions.
• Provide education and counselling to patients and families about safe nutrition practices.
• Document all interactions and interventions in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists and the wider allied health team to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to discharge planning.

Requirements

• Current RDN registration and eligibility to practice in the United States.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
• Strong knowledge of nutrition therapy, food‑drug interactions and medical nutrition therapy guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a full caseload of 35 hours per week.
