Job Summary
Travel Nurse RN – Med Surg / Telemetry – $1,930 per week. This 12‑week contract position is located in Concord, North Carolina, working night shifts in a 457‑bed Level 3 Trauma hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical‑surgical and telemetry nursing care to a diverse patient population.
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and intervene promptly according to protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the EMR.
- Educate patients and families on post‑acute care, medication management, and discharge planning.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in North Carolina (or ability to obtain licensure quickly).
- Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience in Med‑Surg or Telemetry.
- BSN preferred; Associate’s degree acceptable with relevant experience.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to interpret telemetry data.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical‑thinking abilities.
- Willingness to work 12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week.
