Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all transport and fleet operations across the UK, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
• Lead a multi‑site team, driving best practice and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and manage budgets, KPIs, and performance reporting for the department.
• Collaborate closely with the Operations Director and senior leadership on strategy and execution.
• Maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners, retail outlets, cafés and restaurants.
• Ensure health, safety and regulatory standards are met throughout the fleet.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven leadership experience in transport, logistics or fleet management, preferably within FMCG or wholesale distribution.
• Strong analytical abilities and a track record of implementing process improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing budgets of £ millions and delivering cost‑saving initiatives.
• Knowledge of UK transport regulations and health & safety legislation.
