About This Position

Job Summary

Youth Villages is seeking a dedicated Thrive Family Specialist to join our team in Columbia, Maury County, US. This role supports families through evidence‑based interventions, helping them achieve lasting stability and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive family assessments to identify strengths, needs, and safety concerns.
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans using Youth Villages’ proven treatment models.
  • Provide direct therapeutic support, crisis intervention, and case management to children and caregivers.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, community partners, and child welfare agencies to coordinate services.
  • Facilitate family skill‑building workshops, parenting classes, and support groups.
  • Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust plans to ensure measurable improvement.
  • Maintain compliance with state licensing, agency policies, and data‑driven quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with children, families, or in child welfare/behavioral health.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence‑based family preservation and restoration practices.
  • Excellent communication, conflict‑resolution, and cultural competency skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within Maury County as needed.

Compensation & Benefits
