Lockheed Martin is seeking a THAAD Software Configuration Analyst Senior in Redstone Arsenal, Madison County, US. This senior role supports the THAAD missile defense system, ensuring configuration integrity and software baseline management.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and control software baselines for THAAD mission systems.
• Develop and enforce configuration management processes and documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, test, and integration teams to track changes and releases.
• Perform impact analysis for software modifications and recommend corrective actions.
• Generate configuration status reports and support audits for compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior configuration analysts.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in software configuration management, preferably in defense or aerospace.
• Strong knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Git, SVN, IBM Rational ClearCase).
• Familiarity with DO-178C, MIL‑STD‑498, and other aerospace software standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

• Experience with THAAD or other missile defense programs.
• Security clearance eligibility (Secret or higher).
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation (Python, PowerShell).

Compensation

Salary: $158,618.23 per year.
