Job Summary
Join Danfoss as a Technical Support Engineer, Electric Heating, based in Grand Central, Manhattan, NY. This full‑time remote role supports Danfoss electric heating products across the USA and Canada, acting as the primary technical contact for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical assistance and product guidance to distributors, installers, and end‑users.
- Prepare accurate quotations, technical specifications, and system designs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve product performance issues, both remotely and on‑site when required.
- Collaborate with sales, R&D, and manufacturing teams to relay customer feedback and drive product improvements.
- Develop and deliver technical training materials and webinars for internal staff and external partners.
- Maintain up‑to‑date documentation in the company’s knowledge base and CRM system.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical support or field service for electric heating or HVAC systems.
- Strong knowledge of electric heating principles, control systems, and relevant standards (e.g., UL, IEC).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and basic CAD or wiring diagram software.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing multiple priorities.

- Experience supporting products in the North American market.

- Hands‑on experience with field installations and commissioning.
Compensation & Benefits
